LABORATORY OF PLANT ECOLOGY

The Laboratory of Plant Ecology of the Federal University of Paraná, develops applied research for the knowledge and conservation of biodiversity and ecosystem services of the Brazilian Atlantic Forest since 1997.

   The current topics of interest are:

• Ecological restoration and resilience of the tropical forest;

• Patterns of plant diversity in the Atlantic Forest: local to wide scale;

• Ecosystem services of the Atlantic Forest;

• Sustainability in the Anthropocene: ecological, philosophical and political foundations.
